The Seuso Treasure – the Splendour of Pannonia 3D virtual exhibition

The Hungarian National Museum has opened The Seuso Treasure – the Splendour of Pannonia 3D virtual exhibition supported by the Mensor3D branch of 4iG Co. The freely accessible virtual exhibition presents laser scanned objects digitized at a high resolution in 3D at an unprecedented proximity.

Visitors may walk the exhibition as if they were in fact present in the museum. Besides, educational videos and texts help them understand the objects and their mythological backgrounds. Some pieces of the treasure have been digitized meticulously at such a high resolution that thanks to 3D technology the items of the dining set give the illusion you can take them in your hands. Watching the 3D models visitors of the virtual exhibition can admire the amazing forms of the silver vessels of the Seuso treasure and the wonderfully detailed decorative art of late Roman silversmithery.
