Locations of the exhibtions

Outside Budapest, the silver vessels were exhibited in several large towns of Hungary. In 2014 the exhibition in Székesfehérvár, near the presumed site of the treasure, displayed the silver vessels which first returned to Hungary. Between the end of October 2017 and the middle of April 2018 a travelling exhibition presented all the 14 silver vessels in Székesfehérvár, Zalaegerszeg, Kaposvár, Kecskemét, Miskolc and Nyíregyháza. The closing scene of the travelling exhibition was the Hungarian National Museum in Budapest, where the treasure is held permanently. The entire Seuso treasure completed with the copper cauldron was on display for a whole year from June 2018.

A guide for the 2017-2018 travelling exhibition was published. In addition to English, it was translated into the languages of neighbouring countries.
