At the beginning of the 430s a significant part of Pannonia’s territory was ruled by the Huns. At that time Roman administration ceased in the province. Although Roman rule came to an end in the territory, the presence of a Romanized population can be shown for a long time in the archaeological heritage of Transdanubia.
