Hungarian National Museum
A novel feature of the travelling exhibition’s display opening in the Hungarian National Museum was that, besides the silver vessels, the copper cauldron in which the treasure trove was concealed was also put on view. And the silver vessels their parts already fitted together welcomed visitors in their original beauty. In June 2019 the Seuso treasure moved from the museum’s Palatine József Hall to the rooms of the permanent exhibition (Apponyi corridor, Todoreszku rooms) where they can be seen together with other luxury artefacts found in Pannonia and the Kőszárhegy silver stand.
